Early December 2009 Purchased and installed a new Solar powered pump and charging panel. El Oasis water is pumped from a well into a holding tank. The pump runs on electricity adding a big load to the $3,000 per month electric bill. Bill Wheeler, baja rider and Jed Freitas (www.JedFreitas.com) Freitas Rangeland Improvements, orchestrated the installation of a solar panel and pumping system to assist the exsisting pump and reduce the electric bill.
